Dr. Kristen NelsonDr. Kristen Nelson
Owner/Primary Veterinarian

Welcome! I am Dr. Kristen Nelson, the primary veterinarian and owner of Stockton Hill Animal Hospital. I am originally from Iowa but moved to Kingman after graduating from the College of Veterinarian Medicine at Iowa State University in 1995.

I share my home with my cockatiel “JB, ” and pug “Chubbs.” In my free time I enjoy working out and enjoying the beautiful Arizona outdoors! I am also a huge fan of Star Wars and have quite a collection of props and costumes from the movie as well as other movies.Like many others, I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was little. Unfortunately, I had a weak stomach and had decided that I simply could not do it. However, I had such a strong desire to spend my life helping animals that I forced myself to overcome my fears and pursue a career in animal medicine. It was one of the best decisions I ever made and I have greatly enjoyed this profession for the past 10 years. I look forward to another 10 years taking care of pets and their owners at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital.

Jennifer KreygerJennifer Kreyger
Office Manager

Hello there! My name is Jennifer and I am the office manager here at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital. I have always had a great love for animals and working at the animal hospital has enabled me to have a fulfilling career that I enjoy tremendously. I started working at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital in 1999.

Over the years I have collected four cats “Fatt Mann”, “Henrietta”, “Cinco”, and “Puck”. I also have two female beagles at home named “Bumbee” and “Hambone”. I couldn’t imagine my life without all my critters.

I am originally from New Jersey, but like it here in Arizona much better! In my spare time I enjoy hiking, painting, reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family.

I have met some wonderful clients here at the hospital and it brings me great joy to be able to provide them and their pets with great service. I am proud to work with a wonderful staff and an incredible doctor and hope to see you and your pet soon!

Receptionist

Greetings! I am Kourtney and I reside on a small ranch with my husband just outside of Seligman. We have several animals however our main emphasis is our horses. Both my husband and I enjoy training young horses and turning them into trustworthy mounts.

I have been a receptionist with Stockton Hill Animal Hospital since 2001. During this time I have met many wonderful pets as well as their owners.

I moved to Arizona from California in 2000 where I was employed with another animal hospital for four years. The highlight of my experience there was learning about reptiles and their specialized care.

Here at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital, I have had the pleasure of working with some of the finest veterinary professionals the industry has to offer. I can honestly state that Dr. Kristen Nelson and every one of us will ensure that your pet is indeed treated as one of our very own.

Renee TimmRenee Timm
Veterinary Technician

Hi! My name is Renee and I have worked at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital since 2004. I have always wanted to work at an animal hospital because of my love for animals. Ever since I was little, my family has teased me for taking in every stray and begging to keep it. Now I have quite the collection, including horses, dogs, cats, ducks, and a bird.

For fun on my time off my family and I compete in local horse events. After graduation I hope to become a full time veterinary assistant and continue to learn all that I can.

You can come by and visit and see me walking the dogs or spending time petting the kitties and making sure that everyone is well taken care of and happy.

Lindsey McBeeLindsey McBee
Veterinary Assistant

Hi I’m Lindsey. I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital. I’ve worked here since August of 2006. So, at the time of writing this, not very long. But in my time here I have learned a lot from all my co-workers. I love animals and I want to go to college to become a veterinarian. I hope to gain experience in working here.

In my free time I love to hangout with my friends and play with my wonderful pets. I currently have two dogs and a cat: Sadie (she’s my BIG baby), Bella (she’s the actual baby), and Sophie the kitty cat. I love my babies very much. Well that’s all for me. Hope to see you and your pet soon!

Veterinary Assistant

Hey there my name’s Sean. I’ve been working here at Stockton Hill Animal Hospital since October 2006. Back home I have two wonderful dogs (Cody and Calli), two awesome cats (Luna and Athena), and three great guinea pigy roommates (Mu, Zu, and Jackie). I’m currently in high school. I plan to go on to college and study to become a vet myself. I have this great plan for my future, owning an animal hospital somewhere in Japan, with a house built on my own little island, making giant robot sculptures out of old cars in my spare time.

Yeah, I have a big imagination.
